Taking a selfie to treasure a precious memory of the Café’s two statues (deux magots) that made this House famous, or simply enjoying the mood in our main room under its 4-meter-high ceilings are just two of the gourmet pleasures that you can savour in our café-restaurant which is bathed in History, while listening to talented musicians during one of our “Jazz Thursdays”.
A breakfast at the start of an exciting day, a meal of traditional French specialties, a gourmet break around a hot chocolate and pastry, or just relaxing at evening’s end with a luscious cocktail – all options are available here!
Savour the sublime serenity of early morning or, on the contrary, enter into the tumultuous pace of the capital city in the daytime or on weekends, while brunching and admiring the skilful ballet of the waiters, coming and going, along with the hustle and bustle of neighbourhood life.

In its prime location and its typically idiosyncratic aura with a view on the belltower – along with its design based on classical French gardens – our terrace-garden offers you a truly green bower surrounded by natural boxwood.
An intimate little meeting place, ideal for sipping an espresso or an apéritif, sharing lunch or dinner, a secret hideaway right in the centre of town. After dusk, the lighting becomes warmer and makes you want to stay and feel cosy forever.
In summer, with our retractable roof awning, you may, as you please, be protected from the heat or else bask in the sunshine. In winter, even those who feel the cold easily may snuggle under a warm lap blanket at their disposal and enjoy this rarefied Paris view!

SETTING
Les Deux Magots, the famed literary Café, is the most quintessentially Parisian setting that film directors could dream up to show off our French capital to the whole world.
Many illustrious directors have used this legendary scenery for some of their most famous films. In 2011, Omar Sy and François Cluzet are shown having dinner at Les Deux Magots in the world famous film “The Intouchables”, by directors Olivier Nakache and Éric Toledano.
US directors also love our café – a real source of inspiration for them, or a place where they can sit down and write a screenplay, as was done in 2015 for one of the episodes of the Star Wars saga. More recently, “Emily in Paris” was shot in this most magical setting, enchanting the hearts of millions of young viewers.
