Summer 2026 Recommendations
It’s just a short step from the blue sky to your plate! To enjoy them, check out our summer à la carte suggestions at Les Deux Magots starting Thursday, July 9. On the menu: sun-kissed aromas and refreshing flavors to delight your taste buds.
Among the new items to try, the juicy beefsteak tomato evokes the south when paired with creamy, melt-in-your-mouth burrata and pistou. A summer staple at the market stalls, the Charentais melon is perfect for a refreshing bowl, served with Auvergne ham for an extra touch of indulgence. And if you’d rather start your meal with a taste of the sea, the Scottish salmon tartare flavored with Buddha’s Hand is waiting just for you.
We also have some summer suggestions for main courses. First up, a prime cut that will make any meat lover’s mouth water:a three-week-agedNormandy beef entrecôte. About 350g of pure pleasure, served—of course—with French fries and a tartar sauce that’s perfect for the season. For something a little different, we also really love the fillet of gilthead sea bream—which spawns right here in the Mediterranean waters—served with ratatouille and a red pepper coulis.
For vegetarians and food lovers of all kinds, we’d like to recommend our gnocchi flavored with summer truffles, served with sun-ripened vegetables, fava beans, and shavings of Parmesan.
And since a refreshing meal is so pleasant when it’s hot out, we’ve put together a summer seafood salad for you , featuring sucrine lettuce, crab, smoked Scottish salmon, shrimp, grapefruit, avocados, cucumbers, peas, and fava beans.
Summer means outdoor seating—and why not enjoy a drink (in moderation) there in good company? Our next suggestion in this vein is the Raspberry Mojito—a twist on a classic with a fruity twist!
See you soon on Place Saint-Germain-des-Prés at the café-restaurant Les Deux Magots.
