Suggestions for June 2026
New suggestions from the chef will be available from Thursday June 11. Summer flavors bursting with sunshine and focused on freshness, to ensure you enjoy a wonderful season on the terrace of Les Deux Magots.
Among the new starters to discover, we start with burrata and its beef heart tomato with pistou. A concentrate of dolce vita for your taste buds! You can also opt for the original combination of avocado tartar with crab remoulade, all enhanced by the tartness of granny apples. Finally, if it’s marine flavors that tempt you, we suggest sturgeon fillets marinated in olive oil and lemon, served with a crisp fennel salad and citrus vinaigrette.
Among the dishes, let’s take a moment to consider seafood. Why not try a deliciously Mediterranean version of semi-cooked tuna, with pesto and zucchini stuffed with eggplant caviar and tomato confit? It’s a lovely idea, as are medallions of just-roasted lobster, especially when accompanied by a parmesan risotto and champagne beurre blanc.
Those with a more… carnivorous appetite will also be rewarded with a cannon of beef onglet with shallots, served with fresh green beans in butter, because simplicity is also good! Another delicious vegetarian dish is coquillettes flavored with summer truffles, a seasonal ingredient with soft, subtle notes, complemented here with fava beans and parmesan. For the freshness we love to find on our plates this time of year, we take you back to the South with our Provençal salad. It generously combines sucrine and mesclun, tomatoes, green beans, basil-marinated semi-cooked tuna, red peppers, red onions, organic hard-boiled egg, black olives and balsamic vinaigrette… yes, all at once.
And if you think that no meal is complete without a good dessert, we’ve got you covered with the return to the shelves of one of summer’s star fruits: the apricot. A gourmet apricot, since we’re offering it in a crumble, with vanilla ice cream and hints of rosemary.
Hugo Spritz is finally the cocktail of the moment to accompany you – in moderation – during an aperitif on the terrace. Recipe: St-Germain liqueur, Prosecco, sparkling water and mint leaves.
