L'art de vivre Paris evening

To be Parisian is not to have been born in Paris, but to have been reborn there”, said Sacha Guitry. On Monday, March 26, 2023, the grand soirée at Les Deux Magots, where the arrival of summer was celebrated, was an opportunity to celebrate its new signature, l’art de vivre Paris .

The reception was like a majestic, colorful butterfly spreading its wings at the very epicenter of Parisian cultural life, in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Couturier Jérôme Blin’s fashion show dazzled the 350 people in attendance. On the red carpet, his six models moved in deceptively wise silhouettes, illustrating all the dazzling talent of this unclassifiable artist.

For the occasion, Nikos Aliagas’ finest Parisian photography adorned the walls, and can be admired until August 27 in the Salle des Deux Magots.

At the Café littéraire, three artists, and not the least, dedicated their latest works to lovers of words and sublime Paris:

Philippe Torreton and his “Anthologie de la poésie française” (éditions Calmann-Lévy), Guillaume de Tonquédec for “Les portes de mon imaginaire” (éditions de l’Observatoire), and Nikos Aliagas for “Spleen d’Ulysse” (éditions de La Martinière).

The delighted guests were also able to celebrate this Art de vivre Paris by living each moment at the gates of the arts, thanks to the various musical groups that followed one another with brio and panache. The trio of singer Laura Dauzonne opened the ball with tunes from old Paris, followed by a superb classical music quintet led by violinist Galina Lanskaia, and finally the trio of singer Kicca, who brought the house down with their infectiously energetic pop.. The various culinary events delighted the taste buds of even the most discerning gourmets.
