Saint-Germain-des-Prés Book Fair
This first edition, free and open to all, will take place on June 29 and 30, 2024 on the Place Saint-Germain-des-Prés, in the very heart of the artistic lung of Paris’ most literary district. Conceived by Carole Fernandez, the Salon will welcome 70 authors, including well-known names, new talents, fiction and non-fiction writers and children’s authors.
It’s an opportunity for the general public to discover a wide range of literary trends, and to soak up the poetry of this square facing the thousand-year-old bell tower of Saint-Germain church.
In partnership with German-speaking institutions such as Les Deux Magots, Castel, Lipp and the bookshop L’Écume des Pages, this first Salon du livre is set to become a permanent fixture, promoting literature in Saint-Germain-des-Prés time and again.

The prestigious publishing houses and major groups that make up today’s French publishing landscape have responded to the challenge. present.
