Your New Year's Eve at Les Deux Magots
With the holiday season just around the corner, it’s time to choose the perfect place to celebrate Christmas and the New Year.
To complement our seasonal menu, we’ll be serving four festive dishes to celebrate New Year’s Eve with us on December 24th and 31st.
These four suggestions highlight the iconic noble products of this festive season, for dinners where pleasure and sharing with your loved ones will be the watchwords.
Two special holiday appetizers will get your meal off to a great start. Half lobster, the star of the kitchens at this time of year, is offered here with a fresh bean and mango salad, topped with a citrus vinaigrette. Fresh and lively! Another option: millefeuille of pan-fried duck foie gras and homemade gingerbread, with cinnamon-caramelized pear. A wonderful way to revisit the tradition of foie gras in a highly gourmet combination of textures and flavors.

Two festive dishes will also be offered on the evenings of December 24 and 31, to complement the seasonal dishes that will remain available. We suggest one meat and one fish dish, to suit all tastes.
First of all, a great classic that we love at this time of year: capon supreme with morel mushrooms, accompanied by a buttery mashed potato and chestnut burst. A comforting dish to warm your heart and taste buds! Fans of iodized flavors will prefer the roasted turbot breast, a noble and refined fish. Enjoy it with a mousseline of forgotten vegetables and a beurre blanc with champagne, for a subtle, delicate recipe.
