Suggestions for April 2026

Spring is back, and new suggestions are blossoming on the menu of Les Deux Magots for the occasion. On the menu from Thursday April 9.

Three starters, starting with rosbeef with parmesan shavings, arugula salad and mustard emulsion. A classic we love when the weather turns warm. Then artichokes à la barigoule, a Provencal recipe that we’ve revisited here by garnishing artichoke bottoms with carrots, onions and fresh goat’s cheese. Finally, theshrimp and codeffiloché with lemon bergamot jelly is fresh and tangy.

New dishes are also getting into the spirit of spring. On the seafood side, we love roasted king prawns with a duo of tagliatelle and baby vegetables, shellfish coulis. Another fish that deserves your attention if you’ve never tried it before:skate wing with capers, served with grilled potatoes.

Suggestions for April 2026

If the waves don’t tempt you, we also offer a veal chop, cooked at a low temperature to give it all its tenderness, with a morel sauce and mashed potatoes. Vegetarians and all kinds of gourmets will love the tagliatelle with pesto, parmesan and green asparagus (one of the season’s star products).

It’s back under popular pressure: the famous Duo de la mer salad, featuring sucrine, snow peas, fava beans, green beans, house-marinated Scottish salmon, marinated pink shrimp, grapefruit supremes and lemon emulsion.

Fancy a dessert too? This month’s suggestion is Bourbon vanilla crème brûlée, because sometimes it’s the classics that get our attention!

Finally, if you’re in the mood for a cocktail, we suggest the aptly named “Printemps St-Germain “, which mixes St-Germain liqueur, Prosecco and pear juice.
