French whisky publisher Maison Benjamin Kuentz unveiled its latest creation on the garden terrace of Les Deux Magots: Café Musette, an elegant French reinterpretation of Irish Coffee.
A signature cocktail with balance
Café Musette is a warm, refined cocktail that pays tribute to the Parisian art of living, combining precise flavors, refined raw materials and elegant gestures.
Because every whisky from Maison Benjamin Kuentz is conceived as a dialogue with cuisine, dishes or tasting moments, Végétal Musette is an obvious choice. Neither too strong, nor too sweet, it harmonizes perfectly with the warmth of the coffee and the lightness of the whipped cream, in a subtle balance of strength and roundness. This is the art of blending, the House’s signature.
The recipe is deliberately simple and straightforward:
– 3 cl of Végétal Musette,
– 1 cl of sugar syrup,
– 10 cl of hot, aromatic coffee,
– topped with an airy, unsweetened whipped cream, or for those with a sweet tooth, a whipped cream.
Café Musette is served in a unique glass specially designed to accompany it, prolonging the ritual and pleasure of tasting. With its elegant stem, its shape inspired by Parisian bistro glasses and its sober yet stylish design, it embodies the casual chic of Parisian terraces.
A launch in a green setting: the new garden terrace at Les Deux Magots
Designed as a bubble of greenery on the Place Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the Deux Magots garden terrace is a poetic celebration of French art de vivre – the ideal setting to enjoy this unique cocktail with friends, lovers or at the end of an inspired meal.
